New in Barcelona? Yoga in English, in your language

Settling into a new city is easier when you have a space that feels familiar. Our yoga in English in Barcelona is taught entirely in your language, so you can fully relax, understand every cue and simply enjoy the practice — no need to translate in your head. A welcoming spot for expats, internationals and English speakers living in the city.

A yoga that takes care of your body

Yoga was born in India as a path to care for body and mind. Here we practise it with a therapeutic approach, integrated with physiotherapy: attention to breath, mobility and relaxation, with the precision of the Iyengar method and the use of props, so everyone can progress at their own pace and safely.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need previous yoga experience?

No. Classes are designed for all levels. Thanks to the Iyengar method and the use of props, each posture adapts to your body and your starting point.

Do the classes work for English speakers?

Absolutely — that’s the whole idea. Every class is taught in English, so you’ll understand every instruction and can fully focus on your practice. Perfect for expats and internationals in Barcelona.

Can I join if I have an injury or condition?

Therapeutic yoga is very respectful of each person’s limits. Even so, if you have an injury or medical condition, let Alou know before starting so the practice can be adapted and, if needed, coordinated with your physiotherapist. That’s why we ask for the consent form before the session.

How many places are there?

Each session is limited to 8 people, so every student gets proper attention. Places are first come, first served, so it’s best to write early.
